| The series contains images of living monuments in a post-communistic society. After the failure of the communistic system these fast made buildings (which are the homes of the biggest part of the population in Bulgaria) are slowly turning into ruins. The state is not able to take a proper responsibility towards its citizens - the inhabitants of the apartment blocks are left on its own. The ones who have money to renovate their property are visible through the extra layer on the sides of the buildings. The name of the project refers to the financial differentiation between people and the way they manage with their problems. |
